Refund and Cancellation Policy​

 

Subscriptions:

Carolyn Trains does not offer refunds for subscription purchases, including those purchased through Groupon, as this is a personalized subscription product.

  • Month-to-Month Subscriptions:
    You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future monthly charges. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle, but no refunds will be issued for partial months.

​

  • Fixed-Term Subscriptions (e.g., 2-month, 6-month, or 12-month plans):
    No refunds will be provided for fixed-term subscriptions, including those purchased through Groupon. Fixed-term subscriptions do not renew automatically. If you decide to cancel your subscription, access to the platform will end immediately.

How to Cancel Subscriptions:

​

  • For Free trial, I Do Good program, and subscriptions purchased through Groupon: complete these 2 steps:

    • Step 1: Fill out the Cancellation Form. After submitting this form you will receive an email asking you to confirm the cancellation. This is to prevent third parties from cancelling your subscription. 

    • Step 2: Open the confirmation email and reply YES. Your subscription will be cancelled immediately.

  • For Essentials Plan and Signature Plan subscriptions purchased directly through the Carolyn Trains website:

    • Just follow THIS LINK to manage your subscription. Once cancelled you will be able to continue using the service until the end of your current payment period.​ Your Subscription will not be renewed after the term expires.​

Private Virtual Training Sessions:

Carolyn Trains does not offer refunds for purchases of virtual personal training sessions, including those purchased through Groupon.

​

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling: If you are unable to attend a session, you may cancel or reschedule it with at least 12 hours' notice. While refunds are not available for canceled sessions, you are welcome to reschedule at a time that works best for you.

  • Lateness: Clients signing in late will receive the remaining scheduled session time.

​

  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: For cancellations made within 12 hours of the session start time or if you miss your session, the session will be considered forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

  • Unused Package Sessions:

    • No refunds will be provided for unused sessions, including those purchased as part of a package.

  • Expiration Date of Training Sessions:

    • Monthly Subscription Clients: For clients with a monthly subscription that includes a specific number of live online personal training sessions per month:

      • Sessions must be used within the subscription month.

      • Unused sessions do not roll over to future months and are non-transferable.

    • ​Standalone Package Purchases​: For clients who purchase a standalone package of private virtual training sessions (not bundled with a monthly membership):

      • All sessions must be used within 120 days of the purchase date. After 120 days, any unused sessions will be void and non-refundable.

How to Cancel Private Virtual Training Sessions:

  • When you book a session, you will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your session. This email includes options to reschedule or cancel your session directly through the provided links.

"Hold Subscription" Policy

 

​Like most subscriptions, the subscription cannot be paused (temporarily put on hold). If you wish to stop, even if just temporarily, you can cancel your subscription. Assuming I have availability, you will be able to sign back up following your break. When cancelled, you do maintain access to the app and service until your subscription expires. If you restart your subscription then you will regain access to any data you had entered, including workout and personal tracking.
